About RoseLynn Katz

        Author of seven published novels: King of Diamonds, Reckless Venture, Night Train to Paradise, North Country Nights, Fire and Ice, Enchanted Encore, Then Came Laughter, The Berry Cookbook, and two one-woman dramas: For You My Door Is Always Open: A Visit With Golda Meir and The Devil Touched My Tongue: The World And Wit Of Dorothyf Parker.

 

       Has performed at the Bonstelle Theatre at Wayne State University in Detroit, the Osher Center for Lifelong Learning at UNCA in Asheville, at Agudas Israel in Hendersonville, North Carolina, the Asheville Community Theatre, the Magnetic Field in Asheville, the Ann Arbor Public Library in Michigan, and many libraries and community centers in New York, Michigan and North Carolina.

 

       Awarded Best Actress of the Year Plaque from the Westland Players in Michigan. Coordinator of Readers’ Theatre Showcase with The Autumn Players which is part ofThe Asheville Community Theatre.

 

      Director of many readers’ theatre productions, including The Heiress, Beau Jest, A Shayna Maidel, The Price, Spoon River Anthology, Dear Abie: Letters from Jewish Immigrants Desperately Seeking Advice.

 

       Heads play reading committee which selects 5 plays a season for Readers’ Theatre Showcase productions.
